Spirit of Place
Directed by Jack Stimpson and produced by On The Edge Productions, Spirit of Place stars Oscar-winning actor Mark Rylance. Set in one of London’s ‘wetlands’ - a sanctuary for birds and bird-watchers alike - this charming and compassionate exploration of our relationship with nature features music supervision and original music by Arko Music’s Benji Compston.
What we did
Having worked with Jack Stimpson on several projects (including ‘Extinction’ featuring Emma Thompson & Alex’s Dream featuring Alex Lawther), this project showcases Stimpson’s signature style of combining ecologically driven storytelling with a distinctly British humour.
The Oscar-qualifying short film has been celebrated at film festivals including BFI and All Things Living Environmental Film Festival.
